My name is Helen Eagleton and I am a photographer based in Hamilton, NZ. However my home town is the magical beachside town of Raglan, NZ. As long as I can remember I've always loved to take photographs. I enjoy the feeling you get when you look at a picture and how it can capture a moment.

There are many categories of photography but I’ve found that my passion is landscapes, and nature, however due to so many requests I have started doing family photoshoots I am enjoying the challenge of these and love to capture families relaxed and having fun. I have found I love to use natural light and in natural outdoor settings.

I have found I love Canon cameras and have been using a 450D recently and have just upgraded to a 7D. Having converted to digital in the past four years I am enjoying being able to have the control to edit my pictures on the computer myself and to control the look and feel of the piece. I am also enjoying learning more skills and techniques, I have had a great mentor who has taught me alot and is still a great support.

I offer my photos for purchase on canvas and photo blocks, I use a third party to do these for me as I prefer to spend my time taking and editing photographs.
